Where our Contender Base Layers aim to keep you cool and dry in the hottest conditions, the Champion Base Layers move in the opposite direction, keeping you warm when the temperatures dip. Built snug, these base layers just feel warm, along with actually keeping your core temps up. The inner layer of fabric moves moisture away from your skin, while the outer layer deflects wind and insulates. We laser-cut vents into the neckline and armpits for improved sweat removal, and sew the seams flat so they don’t chafe anywhere. Return from your next cool ride and realize “That felt perfectly comfortable.”

The Fastest Fabrics
This cold weather base layer is entirely constructed of a dual layer fabric designed to keep you warm on those chilly mornings when you want to work up a sweat. The fabric is then treated with an inter-power finish that adds additional wicking properties and we've added strategic laser-cut ventilation holes in the chest and underarms. This is the perfect base layer for a fall morning workout.

Our designers come from a diverse set of backgrounds, but they share the same vision: making you look like the coolest person for miles. Our iconic look got that way by defying the staid looks we saw around the triathlon and cycling world, and we continue to innovate each season. After our artists make the look, our seamsters and seamstresses build the garment by hand in our Vista, California factory, living our claim to Made in the USA.
Your Second Skin
The close to the body side of the fabric pulls moisture away and pushes it to the external side where the moisture is absorbed and spreads to a greater surface area for faster wicking. It moves with you in cold conditions, eliminating chafing, while the outer layer deflects wind and insulates.
