Bend, OR - Wattie Ink. is very excited to announce its new partnership with Pro Triathlete, Josh Amberger. Via this partnership, Amberger will race and train in Wattie Ink. Apparel, as well as work closely with our design and development team to help us continue in our quest of making the best performance apparel in the world.
Based in Brisbane, Australia, 26-year-old Josh Amberger is a 70.3 specialist with many notable wins and podium appearances under his belt.
Wattie Ink. Founder and CEO, Sean “Wattie” Watkins, says of the partnership, “We are proud to have Josh as part of the Wattie Ink. Team. He’s an exciting, young pro who approaches his career and racing with the same passion, work ethic and attention to detail that we pour into our brand. We have loved watching him grow as an athlete and personality in the sport of triathlon and are honored to have him as a member of the W Family."
Josh Amberger says of the partnership, “I’m stoked to be joining the Wattie Ink. team. I've seen the passion and hard work the crew have put into the brand, and the high standard of garments that have been produced as a result. That's something I'm really excited to be a part of. Last week, we worked on my first custom speedsuit for 2016 and I started by giving them some illustration ideas. The next day we had totally original sketches from their artists and I was able to approve the design. It was fully produced in the US and then posted to me in Australia then next day. The finish product has blown my mind, and the speed of the process has set a new standard of industry productivity. I look forward to rocking the W and laying it down on the race course in 2016 and beyond!”
